For our October 2016 program, we held a tour/program of the Raleigh Catholic Cathedral project.

Learning Objectives:

 

Upon completion the participants will be able to;

1. Understand how the project team communicated the designers vision using Building Information Modeling.

2. See how constructability issues were identified and solutions implemented particularly in reference to the construction of the dome of the cathedral.

3. Compare and contrast other cathedrals and construction thereof.

4. Identify quality considerations that meet the Owner and designer's expectations.
