About The Event
Learning Objectives: 1 HSW
- The participants will learn about the purpose and need for the intersection improvements and factors such as pedestrian safety that went into developing the selected alternative for construction.
- The participants will better understand the complexity of working in and around a major railroad cooridor and the level of safety expectations to complete the work.
- The participants will learn more about key design elements of the project INCLUDING retaining walls, pedestrain safety enhancements, railroad track construction and waterline relocations for a very active public intersection near the NC State Fairgrounds.
- The participants will learn how the new design will improve safety, reduce congestion and support economic growth and development in the area.
Cost:
- CSI RDU Chapter Members: $20
- Non CSI RDU Chapter Members: $35
- Students: $0

- This event is in person. There is parking on-site.
