New Wake Tech RT2 Classroom Building Tour

 Please join us for our September program where we will be touring the new Wake Tech RT2 building!

BYOG- bring your own gear including PPE. Please wear appropriate shoes and attire. 

This project is the second building and second step in establishing Wake Tech’s new campus in the Research Triangle Park. The Wake Technical Community College Building 2 project will be a general classroom building for both 2-year college and high school students.  Integrating with the Middle College Program, the building provides a variety of general and specialty classroom spaces, offices, a science suite, and various collaboration spaces appropriate for Wake Tech’s “competency-based learning” model to serve both student populations. It will be a three-story structure with each floor approximating 22,000 GSF and a building total of 66,000 GSF. The Construction Budget is $33.4 Million with an August 2021 scheduled completion date.
