About The Event
The Building Enclosure Councils (BECs) are located in twenty-seven major cities across the United States and are charged with providing a forum for the construction industry on the crucial area of the building enclosure and building science issues of local concern. The BEC chapters were formed under an Agreement between the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) and The American Institute of Architects (“National BETEC/AIA Agreement”) dated May 18th, 2004. Through meetings and information resources, the BECs provide valuable information on successful building enclosure design.
The Building Enclosure Council of Research Triangle (BEC-RT) is organized to provide an interdisciplinary, collaborative forum where architects, engineers, consultants, manufacturer’s technical or scientific representatives, contractors, developers, owners, facility managers, and other interested individuals can meet.
