CSI Raleigh Durham Chapter Awards FY2010

CSI Raleigh Durham Chapter has made a commitment to the development of architectural / engineering students in the Triangle area and to recognize outstanding construction detail.  For several years, we have offered two Scholarship Awards, most recently awarded to students enrolled at Wake Technical College Architectural Design Program.  Our interest is to expand this to other local programs- we are currenlty finalizing these opportunties- more details to follow.  These awards are open to any deserving student actively enrolled in an architectural, engineering or construction curriculum- details for submission to follow for FY2010 years’ candidates.  Each year, we also present the CC Woods, Jr. Craftsmanship Award, named to honor the late C. Carl Woods Jr., a long time member of the Chapter.  The two scholarships are for $500 each and along with the Craftsmanship award will be presented at our Awards Banquet at the end of the meeting season.  This year, our Awards Banquet will be in June at the Peddler Steakhouse in Raleigh.
